The Great House, Lavenham
The Great House is in the market of Lavenham. It was built during the wool trade, but that seems more Georgian Tudor from the outside due to renovations in 18 Century. The large house was a private house in 1930, until it turned into a boutique hotel in 1985. The five rooms with private bathrooms are bright and elegant, while retaining the historical charm of the house.
